沙田城市 ( Shatin City，下稱STC ) 發展計劃於 2007 年 4 月公布，提出將多個沙田不同地區的城市合併起來，包括 K11 City、284x282 City、182 City、81K City、272S City 和 88M City。本城市的製作目標是將沙田新市鎮的風貌展現在模擬場景之中，而各製作者分工合作，專注於不同地區進行製作，並共享資源，從而提高城市的真實感及可玩性，並加入創新元素，務求令玩家可在遊戲中，享受駕駛各巴士路線的樂趣。可玩路線包括：62R、80K、80M、81M、85K、86K、86S、87K、87S、88M、272K、282、284、289K、K11。

  Shatin City (STC) development plan was announced in April, 2007. Several mm2 cities of Shatin new town will be merged together in the plan, including K11 City, 284X282 City, 182 City, 81K City, 272S City and 88M City. The project aims to simulate the scenery of Shatin new town in Midtown Madness 2. Benefited from the division of work, different modelers can concentrate on making one particular area and share the resources, thus making the city more realistic and entertaining. New features will also be included in Shatin City so that players can enjoy driving along different bus routes in game. Bus routes available: 62R, 80K, 80M, 81M, 85K, 86K, 86S, 87K, 87S, 272K, 282, 284, 289K, K11.
